Dear National Associations IMAGO members, dear colleagues,
We invite you to attend the online IEGA (IMAGO Extraordinary General Assembly) to be held on July 1st, 2023. The IEGA is being called as per a decision of the IAGA held in Rome on March 24th, 2023.
Further instructions, regarding voting procedures, the time and the link to the meeting, will be provided in due time.
AGENDA
During the Extraordinary General Assembly, the following topics will be addressed:
- Presentation and voting of acceptance of the Azerbaijani Union AKI as full member of IMAGO.
- Presentation and voting of acceptance of the ACC Chile as full member of IMAGO.
- Discussion and voting on suspension or expulsion of the Russian Guild of Cinematographers as a member of IMAGO, as officially asked by the UGC of Ukraine and additional signatories societies of the letter.
- Voting on the amended IMAGO Mission statement proposed by Steven Fierberg.
Please note that this is an important meeting, and your participation is critical.
To facilitate productive discussions and informed decision-making, we kindly request all participants to send in all necessary documents related to these topics. These may include proposals, reports, data, or any other relevant material that you believe would be helpful for the discussion.
Please be advised that all documentation should be sent before the document lock, which happens two weeks before the Extraordinary General Assembly. This will allow sufficient time for our team to compile and distribute the material to all participants.
IMPORTANT: If your representatives are unable to attend IEGA, you may assign your proxy vote to other members by emailing the Board in advance.
Furthermore, we urge representatives of societies concerned as specified in the agenda to attend the IEGA.
