Dear IMAGO Member Society presidents and representatives, dear colleagues,
We invite you to attend the online IEGA 2026 (IMAGO Extraordinary General Assembly) to be held on February 21st, 2026 at 6 pm CET.
Below you will find the preliminary meeting agenda with the matters that will be discussed.
AGENDA
During the Extraordinary General Assembly, the following topics will be addressed:
- Vote on the minutes of the IAGA of May 2025.
- Presentation and voting on approval of the Audited Budget 2025 Closure (FINAUDIT) by the President, Treasurer, Financial Controller.
- Presentation, discussion and voting on approval of the Provisional Draft Budget 2026 (previously approved by the Board) by the President, Treasurer, Financial Controller.
- Presentation of the revised Internal Rules.
- Presentation and voting on the readmission of the Netherlands Society of Cinematographers (NSC) as full member of IMAGO.
- Presentation and voting on acceptance of the French Cinematographers Union (L’Union des Chef·fes Op – UCO) as associate member of IMAGO.
- Presentation and voting on acceptance of the Society of Film Technicians of the Ivory Coast (Réseau des Techniciens du Cinéma de Côte d’Ivoire – RETECHCI) as associate member of IMAGO.
- IMAGO Board and Committee Communication and Cooperation.
- Elections for treasurer of IMAGO.
- Any other business
Please note that this is an essential meeting, and your participation is important.
To support productive discussions and informed decision-making, we kindly request participants to send in all necessary documents related to these topics, including proposals, reports, data, or any other relevant material that you believe would be helpful for the discussion.
All documentation should be sent before the document lock (February 6, 2026), which happens two weeks before the Extraordinary General Assembly.
Member Societies must provide a verifiable voting e-mail address and the name of their designated voting delegate. This information must be signed by two Board members of the Member Society, thereby authorizing the designated voting delegate to cast votes on its behalf and sent by e-mail to , with in copy.
Please note that Associate Members are welcome to attend the IEGA 2026; however, in accordance with the IMAGO Statutes, only Full Members in good standing are entitled to vote.
IMPORTANT: If your voting representative (Full Member in good standing) is unable to attend the IEGA 2026, you may assign your proxy vote to another Full Member representative in good standing by emailing the IMAGO Office in advance.
