The terrible death of our colleague Halyna Hutchins made us very clearly aware that the gross disregard of safety rules and the increasingly cynical treatment of employees in the film industry can no longer be accepted. We believe that cinematographers have a very special responsibility due to their position in the team. This prompted the IMAGO Working Conditions Committee to write this URGENT CALL, which was signed by the IMAGO founder Luciano Tovoli by the entire IMAGO board and the members of all IMAGO committees. This multinational group stands for many thousands of cinematographers worldwide who together form a community of solidarity.
