Award-winning creators & manufacturers of advanced & innovative camera robotics & virtual production technologies, Mo-Sys, will be attending the KitPlus Show next Tuesday 6th July at MediaCityUK in Manchester, UK.
Not only will they be there to talk to people face to face and demonstrate their virtual production and image robotics technologies, but they are also taking part in a seminar entitled “The Virtual Production Bottleneck – How can we sustain growth during a talent drought?” between 12:30pm to 1:30pm.
Having enjoyed a boom during the pandemic thanks to immediate necessity, Virtual Production shows no sign of slowing down, offering cost efficiency, reduced environmental impact, and creativity. There is, however, a shortage of trained VP technicians, which threatens to derail it.
Mo-Sys have recently announced their Mo-Sys Academy, a new initiative dedicated to filling the skills gap and addressing the lack of knowledge within the industry. Mo-Sys are teaming up with Pixeleyed Pictures to train the next generation.
In this session, Mike from Mo-Sys and Riz from Pixeleyed will discuss their experiences with VP, the genesis of the training program, the problems that need to be solved and how to solve them and what this all means for the future of the virtual production industry.
