Two events supported by IMAGO
With color specialists:
Daniele Siragusano – Image engineer
Andy Minuth – Colourist
Because cinematographers must be deeply involved in the creation of image workflows and because their relationship with colorists is a prerequisite for the success of the creative process, Imago, the International Federation of Cinematographers, supports two important FilmLight events at Camerimage 2019.
In the digital era, the art and craft of cinematography and color grading are so interconnected that we want to alert all attending visual artists in Toruń of such interesting events in which creation and educational purposes are deeply emphasized.

‘Understanding visual adaptation for multi-delivery projects’
Coding of sensory information changes depending on stimulation and environment. Visual adaptation is a highly dynamic process. It continuously regulates our perception and visual experience, and we are constantly adapting to the current viewing context. FilmLight Image Engineer Daniele Siragusano will put this topic into the context of content creation and color grading for multi-delivery projects.
‘Developing digital images’
Filmlight Color Workflow Specialist Andy Minuth will demonstrate a best practice of developing a digitally acquired image. He will focus on establishing a robust and creatively encouraging environment where the cinematographer and colourist can focus on shaping their vision instead of fixing problems.
The goal is a digital process that feels organic and can be adjusted to specific project requirements.
Each event will be preceded by a short introduction by a member of the Imago Technical Committee https://www.filmlight.ltd.uk/
