Slovenian Society of Cinematographers (ZFS) is committed to the progress and development of professional cinematography, it advocates respect of moral and ethical principles of the profession and stands for continuous development and quality of Slovenian cinema.
For the eleventh time Slovenian Society of Cinematographers (ZFS) has awarded award – IRIS in the filed of cinematography for the works finished by the end of 2025. Awards were presented in sixt categories: Feature film, short film, documentary film, student film, TV series and music video. In all sict categories 64 films were submitted. Candidates who submitted their works for IRIS award had to be Slovenian citizens or of Slovenian nationality, and not necessarily members of ZFS.
In addition to the sixt categories members of ZFS have decided to award cinematographer and director Andrej Lupinc – Lupo, ZFS for his lifetime achievement and gaffer Milan Prebil for outstanding contribution in the field of cinematography.
A three-member pre-selection committee consisting of animator and director Damir Grbanović (DSAF), Croatian director of photography Damir Kudin (HFS), and director of photography Mitja Ličen (ZFS) selected three audiovisual works in each category for the shortlist, which were then nominated for the 11th IRIS Awards. All ZFS members subsequently had the opportunity to vote for the nominated films. Therefore, no explanations are provided for the award winners.

Feature Film: Ida, Who Sang So Badly That Even the Dead Rose from the Dead and Sang with Her (Rok Kajzer Nagode) – IRIS Award
Short Film: Welcome Home (Tadej Vintar) – IRIS Award
Documentary Film: The Mountain Will Not Move (Brand Ferro) – IRIS Award
Student Film: Blooming (Neža Jankovič) – IRIS Award
TV Series: The Called (Fabris Šulin) – IRIS Award
Music Video: Ari – Don’t Come Back (Izidor Čok) – IRIS Award
Special mention: Disco Lizard – See You in Paradise (Marko Milohnić).
