John Bailey ASC will be recognized in the next edition of Camerimage with the Lifetime Achievement Award. The American cinematographer is actually president of the Los Angeles Film Academy. It is the first time a cinematographer takes such high position in the Film Academy. The 27th edition of the Festival will be held in Toruń, Poland, from November 9th and 16th, 2019. The Festival returns to its home city where all began in 1992 where it stayed until 1999. Lödz was the host city until 2009 and after to the small town of Bydgoszcz for 8 years. Now the International Film Festival of the Art of Cinematography returns home. Considered to be the most important festival in the world dedicated to cinematographers and cinematography. Every year, Camerimage brings together professional cinematographers, students and professionals associated with the film industry. A small equipment expo is displayed by the most well known film manufacturers from cameras, lenses, light and grip gear. The Camerimage festival spans over a course of one week, with multiple seminars, panel discussions, workshops. IMAGO will be also present in a panel discussions in partnership with other societies like the ASC and certainly with the Diversity & Inclusion Committee will get together for another debate.
