The new poster of next edition of Camerimage film Festival invokes the story behind the frog awards. In the city of Toruń where the festival is returning to its roots. It was there in Toruń the festival begin in 1992 the exact year when IMAGO was created in Rome by several societies with the auspicious of Luciano Tovoli AIC ASC. The frog award has a story behind which is based in a medieval legend which is about a rafts man who dealt with a scourge of frogs in Toruń, leading them out of the city by playing his violin. So the awards are named after this legend. The poster invokes the roots of the festival and the Frog awards.
The author of this year’s poster is Piotr Jabłoński /nicponim/ (who also designed the poster for the 25th jubilee edition of Camerimage), a graduate of Faculty of Architecture in Białystok. He has worked for Bungie, Arkane Studios, ArenaNet, Aaron Sims Creative, Wizards of the Coast, DC Comics, Axis Animation, TBWA/Paris, Games Workshop, PlatigeImage, NetEase Games, Tokkun Studio, Aggressive Tv, Centipede Press, Applibot, Evermotion and many others. Piotr Jabłoński is represented by Richard Solomon Artists Representative LLC.
The festival will be held in Toruń 9 to 16 of November 2019
