The 2020 ACS National Awards for Cinematography took place via Zoom on Sunday evening. Despite the current restrictions, the ACS soldiered on to deliver a flawless ceremony which was streamed live by viewers all around the world.
Ray Martin AM was in charge of proceedings on the evening and was dressed accordingly for his role as Master of Ceremonies.
Amongst this year’s winners was Nick Matthews ACS who picked up a Golden Tripod & a Milli Award for his work on Hotel Mumbai. Carl Robertson also picked up a Golden Tripod for his work lensing short film Ascendent.
Roger Lanser ACS, Dion Beebe ACS ASC & John Wheeler ACS were all inducted into the ACS Hall of Fame and gave their acceptance speeches from lockdown during the virtual ceremony.
