International Cinematographers’ Film Festival MANAKI BROTHERS
April 19 @ 08:00 – April 25 @ 17:00
The International Cinematographers’ Film Festival MANAKI BROTHERS, the world’s first and oldest festival dedicated to the creativity of cinematographers, announces its 47th edition, which will take place in Bitola, N. Macedonia from September 19 to 25, 2026. Since its inception in 1979, this festival has been a testament to the artistry of cinematography, celebrating the legacies of the pioneer filmmakers in the Balkans, Yanaki (1878-1954) and Milton (1880-1964) MANAKI, the inspirational figures behind its founding.
Beyond the excellence of the five competitive programs, the festival takes pride in its CLUB OF GREATS. Over the years, luminaries such as Sven NYKVIST, Vittorio STORARO, Roger DEAKINS, and many more have been honored with the festival’s prestigious awards.
As we celebrate 47 years of cinematic excellence, the ICFF Manaki Brothers invites filmmakers to join us on this monumental occasion. The 47th-anniversary edition will honor the rich history of the festival while embracing the spirit of contemporary cinema. Over seven days, attendees can expect an exceptional selection of feature films, documentaries, short films, and student films that captivate, inspire, and challenge the conventions of filmmaking.
