The seventh edition of the Chefs Op en Lumière Festival, which continues to gain recognition (attracting 11,000 viewers in 2024), will take place from January 27th to February 2nd, welcoming nearly 60 distinguished guests.
The program includes:
45 films, featuring 26 premieres, including 8 European films. The jury will be chaired by Rémy Chevrin (AFC).
A masterclass by Paul Guilhaume (AFC).
A masterclass by Momoko Seto, whose short films from The Planet Series have received numerous festival awards.
A roundtable discussion on documentary filmmaking, organized by the AFC and the UCO.
Workshops hosted by the UCO on the theme: “How to Create Daylight in a Studio?”
A conversation between director Alexandre Astier and photographer Jean-Marie Dreujou (AFC).
A Nikon and Red camera handling workshop.
A cine-concert with the original soundtrack for Comediennes (The Marriage Circle) by Ernst Lubitsch.
Additionally, the festival will present an immersive exhibit of BLACK, Claudette Colin’s unknown life, which won the Grand Prix at the 2024 Cannes Festival in the Immersive Experience category.
