The IMAGO Authorship committee took an initiative to support our Spanish colleagues from AEC in their battle to guard their authorship rights.

IMAGO, together with other artists' associations, has repeatedly demanded in Brussels that self-employed people should not be subject to antitrust law. The reason for this is their economic weakness and the resulting lack of contractual freedom. They are therefore not entrepreneurs in the usual sense, but dependent on their clients as well as employees, but without any protection under labor law.
