are officially open for the 2026 edition of
Frame Within A Frame (FWF)
Premier hands-on masterclass
in Tallinn and Helsinki

Since 2023, IMAGO and the ITC (Technical Committee of IMAGO) have been working closely with the Discovery Campus of the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival (PÖFF) and with ’Frame Within A Frame’ (FWF), a premier hands-on masterclass in Tallinn and Helsinki.

Thanks to the involvement of Dhanushka Gunathilake, Cinematographer SLSC, Head of Discovery Campus and Rauno Ronkainen, Cinematographer FSC, Professor of Cinematography at Aalto University of Helsinki, this leading masterclass offers 8 Emerging Cinematographers fantastic opportunities to meet experienced mentors, including talented gaffers from the International Cinema Lighting Society (ICLS) and to discover the latest cutting-edge technologies.
