Dear IMAGO Member Society presidents and representatives, dear colleagues,
We are delighted to invite you to the 2026 IMAGO Annual General Assembly (IAGA), which will take place in hybrid format from March 11 to March 13, 2026, in Vienna, Austria, and online.
This IAGA will be a particularly special occasion, as we will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the AAC – the Austrian Association of Cinematographers, our generous host society.
The preliminary agenda includes the following items:
- Vote on the minutes of the IEGA 2026.
- Announcement of the Mentor–Mentee pairings for the IMAGO Mentorship Program.
- Collaboration with the Japanese Society of Cinematographers (JSC).
- Announcement of election results for Chairs of IMAGO Committees.
- The remaining agenda points will be announced at document lock.

Once finalized, the complete program will be provided to all Member Societies and published on our website.
Members who have not yet done so are kindly requested to confirm their attendance, including arrival and departure dates and flight details, by contacting Marcela Bourseau at , with Carolina Piquet at in copy no later than January 31st .
Representatives attending the IAGA online are asked to inform Carolina Piquet at accordingly.
Please note that this is an essential meeting, and your participation is important.
To support productive discussions and informed decision-making, we kindly request participants to send in all necessary documents related to these topics, including proposals, reports, data, or any other relevant material that you believe would be helpful for the discussion.
All documentation should be sent before the document lock (February 24, 2026), which happens two weeks before the IAGA.

IMPORTANT: If your voting representative (Full Member in good standing) is unable to attend the IAGA 2026, you may assign your proxy vote to another Full Member representative in good standing by emailing the IMAGO Office in advance.
